DO IT! Not only is that a beautiful ring, it's a great alternative to the high prices of diamonds.
Moissanite is ranked at 9.25 on the hardness scale. That means it's impossible to shatter--unless you ran over it or something. (and it would shatter a diamond if you ran over it too)
I don't know why the first woman that responded said it shattered--I worked in a Fine Diamond store and had lots of people use this as an alternative. And it was THE upper-class jewlery store in our area.
My point is, it's not going to break. It's not going to shatter. And it truly is a beautiful ring that you have picked out. Just make sure the online dealer is reputable and has a refund policy--just in case the ring that arrives is not as beautiful as the picture makes it look.
Good luck and congrats!

My coworker has a moissanite the only bad thing is it looks like the most expensive diamond so she says she is not replacing it, because he worked hard saving up for it and it is too special and to replace it with a real diamond would cost thousands. I am jealous because i travel allot ( to foreign countries) and would rather have moissanite that way if it gets lost or stolen it is not the end of the world.

I have a moissanite ring, and it is georgious! Knowbody knows that it's not a genuine diamond... and it looks absolutely flawless. We plan to one day, replace it with a real diamond... but right now I'm completely happy. I don't think it makes our love or our marriage any less important. The one thing I dread, is if we do replace it with a realy diamond... I'm just affraid the real diamond won't be a beautiful as the one I have now. But honestly... I love my ring and the stone is beautiful!

That's a beautiful ring set. I don't know who sells them, but I'm sure you could call around and ask. I personally use Samuel's Jewelers, I have had nothing but great service with them and will probably continue to use them!
